Accessibility statement

DISHA should be usable by the widest possible set of people. This page states what the site does today, what still needs work, and how to tell us when something blocks you.

What the site does

  • · Semantic, landmark-based page structure with skip-to-content links
  • · Keyboard-operable navigation, menus, tabs, steppers and forms with visible focus states
  • · Text alternatives (alt text) for meaningful images; decorative effects hidden from assistive tech
  • · Motion that respects the operating system's reduced-motion setting
  • · Live-region announcements for dynamically updated panels
  • · Colour and type choices maintained for contrast and readable sizing

Known gaps — stated honestly

Some rich visualizations and cinematic image treatments can be harder to interpret with assistive technology. Audio and video content will ship with captions and transcripts when published. Conformance with WCAG 2.1 AA is the working target — not yet a certified claim.
